Job Purpose
The Branch Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all operations at the branch level, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Logistics Management
• Strategically plan and manage branch logistics and transportation.
• Regularly inspect the warehouse to monitor goods on the floor.
• Direct, optimize, and coordinate deliveries to ensure efficiency.
• Arrange warehouse organization, catalog goods, plan routes, and process shipments.
• Monitor proof of deliveries (POD) and cash-on-delivery (COD) documentation.
• Maintain stock levels, ensuring accuracy in inventory tracking.
• Track delivery times, transport costs, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor fuel usage and ensure cost-effective operations.
Staff Supervision & Training
• Supervise, coach, and train warehouse and logistics staff.
• Assign daily duties to drivers and operational staff.
• Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
Customer Service & Relationship Management
• Address and resolve transportation requests and customer service inquiries.
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and business partners.
• Handle and resolve any operational issues or customer complaints efficiently.
Performance & Compliance
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
• Maintain key performance metrics and analyze data to drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
